Decision Day is an annual event that celebrates Detroit seniors as they prepare for a major milestone: graduating high school! The event highlights students' post-grad pathways, whether that is college, trade school or a career program. This year, we are partnering with the Detroit Pistons and local celebrities to put on this special celebration promoting education.

About Detroit College Access Network
The Detroit College Access Network (DCAN) is a collaborative network between local schools, organizations, and the community. The mission of the network is to promote higher education in Detroit and make a college degree or credential a reality for students in Detroit. DCAN serves as the citywide coordinating body for the college access and enrollment strategies in Detroit. We are a network of organizations – bigger than any one program or initiative – using collective impact to align and connect existing programs, schools, businesses and community resources to improve college enrollment and graduation rates for all Detroit students. About Detroit Promise
The Detroit Promise offers a tuition-free path to trade, two-year and four-year credentials at 26 Michigan colleges. The Detroit Promise is a last-dollar scholarship that ensures all eligible Detroit residents have a tuition-free path to an associate degree, bachelor’s degree or technical certificate at participating academic institutions. Detroit Promise funding is not competitive; every student who registers and meets the requirements will receive funding if their college determines they have an eligible funding gap.
